An organization’s success increases when top leaders and employees know where the organization is going, understand the benefits to themselves and the organization, and receive support for using skills learned during training. The Training Institute EQUIPs organizations with the keys to success. Trainings are available to managers, supervisors, directors, coordinators and staff.


Creating a Professional Work Environment
This session helps create and reinforce productive behaviors in the work environment. Participants will:
  • learn a process to assess work environment for optimal comfort,
  • foster skills to build morale,
  • identify a clear set of expectations in the work environment in which people are responsible and accountable.
  • Time: 2 - 4 hrs.

Basic Principles of Leadership
Take the lead in your organization! Participants will:
  • identify the basic principles and qualities that create a genuine leader,
  • discuss ways to encourage collaboration,
  • learn how to promote personal initiative.
  • Time: 2 - 4 hrs

Team Building
This highly interactive training helps open communication lines and improve teamwork and morale. Participants will:
  • to cultivate and maintain a cohesive team,
  • examine hiring, staff orientation, supervision, professional development, and coaching,
  • examine how we make judgments to appreciate, tolerate or avoid others,
  • explore communication, meeting management and effective group facilitation.

Recognizing Staff
Does your staff feel taken for granted? Create a climate of acknowledgment and encouragement. Participants will:
  • learn to recognize and reinforce positive behaviors of staff,
  • learn how to encourage and reinvigorate enthusiasm for the job,
  • learn how to acknowledge accomplishments in ways that inspire excellent performance.

Conducting Effective Supervision
Do you meet with your staff? Research shows if your employees feel valued and are working on set goals, they are more productive. Learn strategies to effectively supervise and recognize employees.

Conducting Effective Performance Appraisals
Effective supervision leads to positive performance appraisals. This session provides managers with skills for recognizing and reinforcing behaviors that support and lead to the positive results. In this session, participants will learn to:
  • avoid legal claims,
  • improve documentation,
  • acknowledge employee accomplishments in ways that will inspire excellent performance.

Giving and Receiving Feedback
Learn the skills necessary to provide constructive feedback and to help solve problems and prevent potential problems. In this session, participants will learn:
  • strategies to build an environment of openness and mutual respect,
  • how to promote problem solving and continued learning.
  • Time: 2 - 4 hrs.

Conflict to Collaboration
Is there conflict or concerns in the office? This session focuses on handling tricky situations that can often develop among and between team members. Participants will:
  • learn how to facilitate a conflict to collaboration,
  • discover positive ways to address these situations,
  • gain skills to help form stronger relationships among team members.
  • Time: 2 - 4 hrs.

Dealing with Generation X, Y & Z
Employees of the future will approach the world very differently from how we grew up. What does that mean and how can we be proactive? Now is your chance to bridge the generation gap in the work place! Learn how to effectively manage and work more effectively with younger generations.

Diversity Training
Learn about cultural sensitivity in a world and work environment that is increasingly diverse. Participants will:
  • become familiar with the latest issues and practices,
  • learn methods to help staff work in a diverse environment.
